It's too early for me to fully get into Basketball right now but the East SUCKS! The Atlantic East's top three teams are all 3 games UNDER .500. That's just pathetic.

There's a new era of NFL QB's emerging this year that will last for years and should prove for some great football:

Romo, Rivers, Grossman, Leinart, Young, Manning*, Alex Smith/SF, Gradkowski/Tampa, Jay Cutler/Denver, Harrington/Miami

I know some of those names are ify (harrington/gradkowski) ..I'm not saying they will all be hall of famers, but they all seem to know what they are doing right now. Quantity!

Assassin

Ah, the internet. While perusing Wikipedia for D&D history I came across this:

I remember in junior high we all set up a game of Assassin. I came to school ready to get with the killing, sat down at a table and Lemonodor looked over and killed me (maybe with a "poison dart", I don't remember). That was it. Done. I was dead and 1st period hadn't even started yet.

I think one of my favorite sub-plots of the NFL season is watching Philip Rivers TEAR IT UP in San Diego while Eli Manning EATS ASS in New York. For those that don't know Eli and his daddy petitioned to be traded from S.D. to N.Y. for Rivers.

We went down to the Monterey Bay aquarium last week. It rocks. Highlights were the Jellyfish of course, but the Ocean Sunfish took top honors. Just an amazing creature.
